Notes for Saying Things That Matter Most
The five things people want to say at the End-of-Life, or during an illness, are: Thank you, I Love You, Please Forgive Me, I Forgive You, and Good-bye. These notes, a few examples shown here, have been created by Kansas Health Ethics to help you say these important words. A box of 7 cards, including 2 blank notes, are available for $10.00. Please call our office at (316)684-1991 or e-mail pmishler@kansashealthethics.org to order sets for yourself, your friends and family.

Julie Russell, Executive Director of Kansas Health Ethics, makes presentations all over the country on health ethics issues. She often incorporates one of her many short dramas, or "case dramatizations" to help illustrate the issue. Some of the topics are: End-of-Life care, Medical Futility, Advance Directives, and Access to Health Care for the Uninsured. To have Julie be a speaker at your organization or event, please call us at (316) 684-1991 for more information, or go to www.ethicsthrudrama.com.
To view samples of the dramatizations, click the video screens below.

What if Kansas Health Ethics earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Or how about if a percentage of every purchase you made online went to support our cause? Well, now it can!
GoodSearch.com is a new Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. Use it just as you would any search engine, get quality search results from Yahoo, and watch the donations add up!
GoodShop.com is a new online shopping mall which donates up to 37 percent of each purchase to your favorite cause! Hundreds of great stores including Amazon, Target, Gap, Best Buy, ebay, Macy's and Barnes & Noble have teamed up with GoodShop and every time you place an order, you'll be supporting your favorite cause.
Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter Kansas Health Ethics as the charity you want to support. And, be sure to spread the word! |
