Notes for Saying Things That Matter Most

The five things people want to say at the End-of-Life, or during an illness, are: Thank you, I Love You, Please Forgive Me, I Forgive You, and Good-bye. These notes, a few examples shown here, have been created by Kansas Health Ethics to help you say these important words. A box of 7 cards, including 2 blank notes, are available for $10.00. Julie Russell presentations and dramatizations


Julie Russell, Executive Director of Kansas Health Ethics, makes presentations all over the country on health ethics issues. She often incorporates one of her many short dramas, or "case dramatizations" to help illustrate the issue. DNR Advisory

Kansas Health Ethics, in conjunction with The Center for Practical Bioethics and LIFE Project, has issued a Joint Advisory on the subject of Do Not Resuscitate Directives and Do Not Resuscitate Orders in the state of Kansas. The Advisory is to clarify the difference between the types of DNR documents and who has the authority to sign them. Click HERE to see the Advisory.
